Victoria Bulstrode, formerly Maya Riddle and Lady Bulstrode, was an English half-blood witch. Descended from Salazar Slytherin on her mother's side through the House of Gaunt, Maya and her twin Tom Riddle were conceived whilst their father, Tom Riddle Senior, was under the effects of a love potion supplied by her mother, Merope Gaunt. When the enchantment was lifted, their father abandoned his pregnant wife and returned to Little Hangleton. Her mother died moments after giving birth to her. Maya and her brother were raised in the Muggle-run Wool's Orphanage.

Mava began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1938 and was sorted into Slytherin House. During this time, Maya discovered her heritage, but she never looked down on Muggle-borns, unlike her brother. She was shocked that her brother had opened the Chamber of Secrets and used its monster, the Basilisk, to attack Muggle-born students, resulting in the death of Myrtle Warren. While attending Hogwarts, Maya Riddle was appointed both a Prefect and Head Girl in 1942, a position she held until her graduation in 1945. Before graduation, Tom told her that they would rule the wizarding world together, and she became his Dark Lady, but Maya did not want to; however, she did not say this to her brother because she knew he would become angry if she said no to him.

Learning that her brother was a cruel monster, she fled to France after graduation, marrying a Muggle-born man and having two children with him, Thomas and Isabella. In 1957, her twin, Tom Riddle, paid a visit and killed her husband, then tortured her for betraying him before using the killing curse on her. However, she was resurrected by him for unknown reasons, and after that, she was forced to sleep with Riddle; however, the next morning, she was gone with her children. Riddle did not find her anywhere after years, but he craved her more than ever, even if she had disappeared.

Maya is the last Gaunt and Riddle family member after Voldemort's demise.

Biography

Early life (1926 - 1938) 

Albus Dumbledore: "He has a twin? A sister?" 

Mrs. Cole: "Yes. She is a very caring and lovely young lady. She differs significantly from her brother in temperament."

Mrs. Cole: "They share a room but sleep in separate beds. Tom is highly overprotective of her!"

Maya Riddle and her twin brother, Tom Marvolo Riddle, were born on the same day, month, and year, December 31, 1926, at Wool's Orphanage in London. Their mother, Merope, staggered to the door of the orphanage, gave birth to twins there, and died shortly after. Riddle's siblings grew up in the dingy orphanage, completely unaware of their wizarding heritage. Since the Muggle orphanage staff was unaware of their mother's magical background, they were also unaware of their own magical heritage. Instead, they believed that Merope was a circus worker, as Mrs. Cole told Dumbledore shortly before his first meeting with the Riddle siblings.

Hogwarts years (1938–1945)

Maya was educated at Hogwarts from 1938 to 1945 and was sorted into Slytherin House like her twin brother, Tom Riddle. During summer breaks, she and Tom were forced to return to the Muggle orphanage, which Maya was kinda happy about; however, her brother despised and dreaded it more than any other place.

Maya described being seen as "brilliant, parent-less but so brave, and a school prefect". No one said or did anything to her because she was Riddle's sister, and if they did, Riddle would punish them severely.

Discovering the Chamber of Secrets

Upon the two arriving at Hogwarts, her brother became obsessed with their heritage and began researching it with an insatiable hunger. He focused solely on the identity of his father, thinking him to be the magical parent, as he felt his mother could not have been a witch if she had died. He searched for his father's name in the school trophy room, in the records of Hogwarts prefects, and in records of wizarding history, but found nothing to suggest his father had even attended Hogwarts. He was eventually forced to accept that his father was the Muggle parent and that his mother was the magical one. It was around this time that Riddle gave himself the alias "Lord Voldemort" to spare himself the reminder of his "filthy Muggle father". However, Maya discovered this soon because she knew and followed Tom after that.

Personality and traits

It is safe to assume, given her marriage to a Muggle-born, that Maya was very different from her brother: while her brother was a Pure-blood supremacist who despised Muggles and Muggle-borns. 

She was clearly a good mother, as shown by her concern for her children's whereabouts after the First Wizarding War.

In addition to being a good wife, mother, and grandmother, she was a good friend to most people she knew. She was also strong-willed, as when she was tortured, she did not reveal anything that could harm Harry Potter or any of her friends.

Like Molly Weasley and Andromeda Tonks, Maya was a woman dedicated to her family and friends. Thus, in many ways, Maya's personality contradicted the "evil Slytherin" stereotype held by many students of the other Houses. Instead, she appeared to embody the Slytherin principle of fraternity. This was seen by her standing by her friends, family, and allies.

Maya never knew or saw her parents, nor did her twin brother, Tom Jr. Their father, Tom Senior, left their pregnant mother Merope when he discovered he had some sort of poison from her, and they were left at Wool's Orphanage immediately when their mother died after giving up.

Tom and Maya were very close during their childhood. Tom always protects Maya from other orphanage kids who bully her and him all the time. Sometimes Tom took a strong, big stick and started hitting in revenge. When Dumbledore visited them, they were about 5 years old already, and he told them that they could go to Hogwarts, which teaches magic to them.

In 1938, they were sent to Hogwarts together, and both were sorted into Slytherin House. Their dorm rooms were separate because boys and girls can't sleep together. When Tom heard that, he was pissed that he couldn't sleep with her twin sister anymore.

During the Hogwarts years, Tom and Maya joined Slughorn's club. Both became school prefects; however, her brother acted like a model student and a brilliant actor, whereas Maya wasn't.

Over time, her brother gathered a gang of Slytherin thugs, of which Maya was one of the members. Also, however, when Myrtle died suddenly, she was sure her brother was behind this, but never told anyone about this because she was afraid of what Tom would do after.

At some point, Riddle became obsessed with his sister's beauty and eventually became her lover. The two of them sneak up on them and lie to professors that they have to patrol the corridor, but Riddle is very cunning and clever enough to know the school rounds where other Prefects are, so they hide in empty classrooms or bathrooms often. Over time, Maya becomes pregnant with Riddle's child without anyone's knowledge. Some think she was ill or something worse, so they stayed away from her, but only her brother stayed on her side and finally took her to the Hospital Wing, where it was later revealed that she was pregnant, upon which Riddle was shocked by her unknown pregnancy however Maya lied to professors that her boyfriend is her child's father which wasn't true and Riddle know his sister was lying.

Harry Potter

Harry was her student and also, distantly, connected by blood. She and her brother shared ancestry with the legendary Peverell family, including Harry.

She helped Harry with many cases, as well as looking for her brother's Horcruxes.

After her brother's downfall, it seems they get good very well and become close friends. Harry liked and respected Victoria for her ideals. It is possible that after the war, they would see each other regularly, and probable that in such a scenario, they would develop a bond because they shared ancestry that lies with the legendary Peverell family. It is also highly likely that Victoria herself was welcomed at Harry and Ginny's house as a dinner guest often.
